Lack of Access to Eye Care

In many parts of the world, there is limited access to eye care professionals, diagnostic tools, and treatment. This lack of services prevents early detection and timely treatment of conditions that could lead to blindness or vision impairment.

AI Technology is not Democratized

AI technology remains inaccessible to many, leading to preventable blindness in treatable diseases due to the unequal distribution of advanced healthcare tools.

Limitation in Imaging Technology

Many cameras capture only a limited field of view of the retina, which can result in incomplete images. Clinicians may miss important parts of the retina where ROP changes occur, leading to under-diagnosis or misdiagnosis.
